# Learn philosophy on your phone, a few minutes a day

Bite-sized lessons, quick questions and a daily streak.

Philos is an app that teaches you philosophy, one short lesson at a time, from the first thinkers of ancient Greece to the big questions about ethics and how we live together.

Every lesson is bite-sized. You read a little, answer a quick question, see right away if the idea stuck, and move on. There is no heavy textbook to get lost in and no names to memorize for the sake of it. Each lesson takes one idea and explains it plainly: what the thinker argued, the reasons behind it and what others replied. A few minutes on the bus or in a queue is enough to make real progress, and that is exactly why people keep going.

What keeps you going is the daily streak. Every day you learn, the streak grows, and a reminder helps you remember to practice before it breaks. If you have ever looked for an app like Duolingo, but to learn philosophy, this is the same idea: small, regular practice beats one long weekend of cramming, and the streak makes the small version the easy one.

The courses follow a clear order, so you never wonder what to learn next. You start with what philosophy is and how to build and test an argument, then travel through ancient Greece, the great traditions of Asia, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the age of Descartes and Kant, and the ideas of the last two centuries, and finish with ethics and political philosophy. You do not need any background to begin: the first course is for anyone curious, and each one builds on the last. By the end you will be able to follow a philosophical argument, tell a strong reason from a weak one, and recognize the ideas behind the debates you meet every day.

When you finish a course, you earn a certificate of completion to keep and share.

Learning philosophy does not need a university seminar or a free weekend. It needs a few minutes a day, a clear path and something that makes coming back feel easy. That is what Philos is built to be.
